Not mine alone! Just watch a few games on TV and notice how many pitchers are wearing Wilson A2000s. I suggest pitchers because you can see their gloves most readily, but this big fellah is popular with outfielders also. (Infielders are generally alien life forms and have very strong peculiar tastes in gloves.)
This is a rugged, firm glove that will need to be worn in to show its best qualities. Do you know how to form a pocket? If you don't, ask the nearest teenage boy, but don't let him try out your Wilson A2000 or you may never get it back.
Honestly, this is not a glove for a young player unless he's likely to be scouted. It takes a strong hand to close the glove on the ball and to exchange the ball to your throwing hand properly.
You might note the price before you toss it in the shopping cart. For $169 you have every right to expect a darn good glove. This one is a darn good glove. Treat it well and it'll be your gamer for years. I hadn't used mine for two seasons, but I put it on today and it felt like my own skin.
